Tina the Long Neck Turtle has many faces. This anthropomorphic, multisensory installation showcases the voices of local school children in a multilingual celebration of welcoming and belonging.
Tina the Long Neck Turtle is an inflatable installation, (4.5m long, 2.5m wide and 1.5m tall.) The faces of the children will be projected onto Tina’s face from within the sculpture. They speak in English and their native tongue. Animations inspired by their drawings will be projected onto the turtle shell.
Tina was created in partnership with Little Projector Company and premiered at Hume Winter Light Festival in 2025.
